What is "Petnership"?
When brainstorming about a name for our event we settled on “Petnership” because it’s a word that, for us, most embodies and celebrates the human-animal bond. Animals bring such gifts to us, both individually and collectively, that we want to honour the partnership—“petnership”—so often found between animals and humans.
Petnership Panel of Animal Experts:
The Petnership Project is fortunate to be working with a Panel of Experts in the field of holistic and alternative animal health. Our Panel provides guidance and input into the best approaches to take to ensure that our exhibition and speakers program include relevant and leading-edge information to help you get the most out of your experience. We’ve listed our Panel Members below and would love for you to visit their websites to find out more about them. Be sure to check out their booths and talks at the event.

The Business Petners:
Sandi Hildebrand
As a pet owner, I am passionate about the well-being of all animals. The results of healthy and holistic options for animals—including my dog, Belle, a six-year-old giant schnauzer—speak for themselves. Over the years I have come to recognize the need for a forum that focuses specifically on holistic approaches to animal wellness. I believe in providing people with the opportunity to make informed choices based on all the credible and scientific information available today.
I also believe that animals’ innate joy and wisdom teach us daily about being present, asking for what we want, and celebrating the joy of each moment. I've spent countless joyful moments with Belle, who regularly makes me laugh and likes me no matter what kind of bad hair day I'm having!
Using my extensive background in Event Management and Human Resources, I have turned my “passion” into my “work purpose” and am currently co-creating The Petnership Project®—a Tradeshow featuring “wellness for all creatures great and small”.
Esther Sarlo
Inspired by Sandi’s passion for and commitment to the well-being of all animals, I’m delighted to “throw my hat” into the Petnerships® ring. As a Concierge, Event Manager, Writer, Musical Performer, and former Youth Counsellor, I bring organization, energy, and enthusiasm to this amazing Tradeshow Event.
I’m passionate about clear, authentic communication and collaboration that connects people with “things that matter”. In the Petnership Project®, I’m privileged to participate in creating opportunities for people and businesses directly related to the holistic and alternative treatment of animals. The more we are educated about the options available for animals, the better prepared we all are to make informed choices.
I look forward to seeing you at the Petnership Project® in June 2010.
