I went here tonight for dinner. I have never had Jamaican food before so I was pretty excited to try it out. The inside of the restaurant was nice enough and the prices were fair. However, the food while good was not amazing. I tried one of the coconut shrimp which came with a dipping sauce. The dipping sauce was fine, but I thought that the coconut shrimp lacked some flavor. I am kind of a sissy when it comes to spice so while I liked my dish of **** chicken, I wish that it had a little less spice to it. Our waitress was nice. If you are craving Jamaican food in Tucson, then I would consider giving this place a try.

As a Jamaican, I am pretty critical about our cuisine. I ordered the combination meal of Oxtail with Curry Goat, accompanied by rice & peas, steamed vegetables and fried plantains. To wash it down, I chose vanilla flavored ***** Moss. Everything was fairly decent, however, I believe the chef has a heavy hand when it comes to salt. As I was the only patron, my meal arrived very fast, but was not as *** as it should have been. The restaurant is still good enough if you are having a craving for some authentic Jamaican food.

Went for carry out while at Gem Show. Saw the reviews and since I **** Jamaican food, lets try it. While waiting I had Ginger beer (home made), it was great!! Food came fairly quickly, took it back to the room and ate it over 2 days. Large portions and excellent tasting. Will be back when in town.

Sooooo good. I **** this place!! Can't beat the lunch special with the **** chicken and mmmmmmm the fried plantains. I ordered a extra side of fried plantains!!! Sooooo good! We also ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer and it was really good. Very good moderation between the amount of shrimp meat and the very fragrant taste of coconut, crispy and not filled with batter. Don't forget the Moss drink! I got peanut and it's amazing!!! Atmosphere 5 very Jamaican Service 5 very attentive Food 5+ seriously, mmmmmmm Price 5 can't beat the $5 lunch special

Cee Dee is in a well kept up shopping center. I was really impressed with the interior, it was very festive with a sizable seating areas as well as a bar. From their bathroom posters one notes they offer DJs/***** nights some with covers some without. I just might have to partake one day. I have not previously dined on Jamaican cuisine so I went “***” and ordered goat, they offer it curry style. This comes with rice or rice and kidney beans, along with two sides. The meat was very robust, moist, really a nice flavor. Definite downside is the very VERY small bones found in almost every bite. This fact alone will keep me from ordering this in the future. My ********** had chicken curry served as drumsticks that looked nice. The curry sauce was really good, definitely had a nice kick after taste. The rice and beans wasn't anything special but good, next time I'll opt for double steamed cabbage sans rice. My other side was plantains that were not covered and fried just fried which I appreciated, they're a lovely sweet treat. Definitely will be back for those plantains and the curry

If you want authentic Jamaican, this is the spot. Delicious ox tail and festival rolls. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was mellow. It was quite when I went for lunch. However, its connected to a ***** hall. So I'm sure it picks up on weekends.

When I think of Tucson, I don't really see how Jamaican would ****. I'm glad that doesn't matter! Their **** chicken is really, really, good. I recommend it 1000x over. All of their sides were tasty as well but not as special or unique, so no complaints there. If I could just buy the **** chicken in bulk, I would have; I could eat it all day! I have a **** time choosing something else when I visit as I always want the chicken.
