We know that there are hundreds of dogs, cats and small animals available for adoption and that rescue organizations work tirelessly to save and help those animals. As a way to acknowledge the work that rescue organizations do and to assist in that work, The Petnership Project is hosting a Rescue Showcase during the two days of the event.
Are you interested in a particular breed? Did you know that over 25% of the animals in shelters are purebred? Many purebred animals in shelters are turned over to the specific breed rescue organization for help and re-homing. From Weimeraners and German Shorthaired Pointers, from Boxers and Chihuahuas' to Sharpei's, from Min-Pins and Poodles to Pitbulls, there are gorgeous and wonderful animals looking for forever homes. Don't take the chance of buying an animal from a puppy mill or backyard breeder - come and see all the great purebreds that are available for adoption, learn more about their breed and requirements, and have fun at the same time!
ps - You read or heard about the 23 dogs that were surrendered to HugABull...come and see how some of them are doing firsthand and say hello! They would love to meet you!
